House Checks

 

If you are going to be gone for more than a week or two, it pays to have someone check on your property to make sure it looks occupied and prevent small issues from becoming larger problems. When not watched you risk the insurance company rejecting a claim based on the home being vacant.

 

We provide a Property Check Service which includes but are not limited to the following:

• Radom Visits to your Home – Unpredictability is the key

• Check Entire Exterior

• Sweep Porch and walkway

• Windows – Doors – Visual Roof Assessment

• Collection of Mail, Newspapers and Solicitations

• Interior Assessment

• Window and Door Locks

• Check for Leaking Pipes under Sinks, Toilets, Water Heater and Washer

• Appliances Should be Unplugged to Save Energy

• Unplug the Garage Door Opener– Prevents Inadvertent Opening and Intruders

• Run Vehicles to keep Battery Charged

• Relocate Vehicle to Make The Home Appear Occupied

• Adjust thermostat

• Maintain Timers

• Unplug All Electronics and Lighting

• Unplug All Appliances

• We will act as your local point of contact if you have a delivery, repair or an alarm system that is being monitored. We will arrange to meet vendors for repairs or deliveries.

• We will set up your home prior to your return, turn on the water, hot water heater and adjust the thermostat.
